Child Nutrition
The Child Nutrition Department of Watauga County Schools is responsible for all aspects of food service in our schools. This includes purchasing of food, drinks, supplies and equipment; preparing meals and snacks; and maintenance of billing and payment information.  Our schools comply with all Federal and State health and safety standards and are subject to regular inspections by the Health Department.  Child Nutrition believes that providing healthy food choices and efficient, self-supporting services will enrich lives and foster success for all our students. Our Child Nutrition Director is Monica Adams.

Online Payment Available
Parents now have the option to make online payments on their children's school meal accounts. See details for online meal payments in the documents posted on this page under the department files heading below, or go directly to the service provider's website at www.lunchprepay.com.  We hope you will find this a convenient alternative to making payments in person at school.
